People always say that your sister or brother is your first best friend and most of the time this is true. But aside from that, your cousin is your first or second best friend. You don't realize it growing up how close you and your cousin are related until you yourself are older and share that special bond with your sibling when they have children that become your niece and nephew. It took my awhile growing up to appreciate how close I really am with my cousins and aunts and uncles and I never really saw it until I realized how close my mom was to her siblings. Cousins are amazing people to share life with.
Cute! Cousins are awesome because they are built in best friends. Unlike siblings, you're not around them as much so you have time apart to really appreciate the bond. Your kids are lucky they have cousins their age to play with!
